Everything Counts

What do you think of when someones asks the how does a team pull in revenue? Ticket Sales? Sponsorships?

Revenue comes from several different sources for a team, from the time you enter the gates and pay for parking until the time you leave and pay valet to exit; and everything in between. Although it is true that the main stream of revenue comes in the form of ticket sales and sponsorships, it also comes from the program you purchase when entering the stadium, the hotdog you buy at half time, the beer you purchase in the third quarter when the team is doing so bad, you can't bare to be sober and watch, the t-shirt you purchase after the game because no matter what, win, lose, or draw, this is YOUR team. All of these things account for the revenue made by a team . Memorabilia, including, but not limited to autographed jerseys, team plaques, and game balls are a part of strategy to keep an income stream coming during the "off-season". (There is no off-season for revenue).
